Education in Trident is not just about books and classrooms. A student can achieve and accomplish many goals because of the easy access provided to a variety of facilities. Trident is second to none in this respect and the students are assured of the best results. Academics, personality development, honing special skills or whatever their area of interest might be, the students get complete support from the faculty and senior students.
Co-Curricular
The technical clubs are being formed in two levels. To start with, there are 14(Fourteen) such clubs under the “TECHNOVATION” scheme at the college level, where any student of TAT or TACT can become a member.
Sports and Games
The college provides gaming opportunities like table-tennis, badminton, volleyball, cricket, football and basketball, etc. Several events such as technical quiz, GD, paper presentation, software contests, extempore and mock interviews, etc. are conducted. The college has a Holistic Centre which provides Yoga classes for students and staffs. Specialists in Yoga take the classes. It works to spread awareness among individuals for a better management of life. To organise sports events in campus and outside TAT has constituted a sports committee.

Innovation is synonymous with risk-taking and organizations that create revolutionary products or technologies take on the greatest risk because they create new markets.
Extra Curricullar
All work and no play makes you a dull boy. Boys and girls join Trident Group Of Technology in their late teens. The heavy work schedule prescribed by the university (BPUT) hardly leaves any breathing time. Nonetheless, when someone is in an institution of the Trident Group, he/she surely gets a chance to demonstrate talents and creative ability through the following cultural clubs and programmes.

IEDC
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) is an initiative of National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi under Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. With a mission to “Develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in academic institutions to foster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students”.
IEDC Projects
In recognition of the institute’s relentless efforts in finding the founders of future companies from amongst students, the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India has sanctioned the only IEDC (Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Center) in the state of Odisha in 2013 with funding support for 5(Five) years. This will enable the college to act as an angel investor for 5 student innovative projects every year for 5 years continuously.
Incubation Cell
The Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises(MSME), a branch of the Government of India, is the apex body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws relating to micro, small and medium enterprises in India MSME has been pleased to setup MSME Business Incubator Cell(Trident –BI) in the year 2015 in Trident Academy of Technology, to facilitate ,handhold & promote entrepreneurs/Students having creative innovative ideas with commercial value.
